Neroli Extreme

Neroli Extreme is a green citrus from Gritti, composed by Luca Gritti and released in 2017, worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it citrus, two thirds add green, and a minority find gourmand, musky and amber sides.

Lemon, lemon peel and orange open it, sharp and zesty, more rind than juice. Galbanum gives the heart a bitter, resinous, intensely green note, like snapped stems, and petitgrain adds the leafy, slightly woody bitterness of orange-tree foliage. Together they make the green impression as strong as the citrus. The base softens all of that: vanilla brings a creamy sweetness, amber a warm resinous glow, and musk a smooth finish that lets the scent settle quietly on the skin.

Bright and bitter on top, soft and sweet underneath, it suits daytime and warm weather, with enough base to last into the evening. Anyone who likes citrus with a sharp green edge rather than a floral one should find it rewarding.
