Cerise Rouge, released by the Italian brand Gourmet in 2024, is mainly gourmand, with smaller musky, woody, floral, resinous and amber touches.

Cerise means cherry in French, and cherry leads the way with a ripe, juicy and slightly candied sweetness, joined by black currant for a tart, dark berry note. Rum brings a boozy, warm sweetness, a classic pairing that recalls cherry liqueur or a rum-soaked cherry. In the heart, almond blossom gives a soft, nutty floral note, heliotrope an airy, almond-like powder and rose a velvety touch. The base is creamy and warm: vanilla, including Madagascar vanilla, and tonka bean bring a rich sweetness, benzoin a soft resin, sandalwood a creamy woodiness, and amber and musk a smooth finish.

The profile suggests autumn and winter, evenings, dates and cosy occasions. It is meant to be worn by anyone who likes boozy cherry gourmands with almond and vanilla, and who enjoys sweet, dessert-like fragrances.
