The opening pairs peony with pink pepper, a fresh, rosy floral lifted by a peppery sparkle. The heart is a full bouquet of rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, iris and mimosa: velvety, creamy, powdery and honeyed at once. The base gives it its mysterious side, with agarwood adding a smoky, resinous depth, leather a smooth hide-like warmth, benzoin a soft sweetness, Virginia cedar and patchouli a dry, earthy frame, and raspberry a dark fruity accent.
