Blackberry opens with a deep, juicy, slightly tart fruitiness, and black elder adds a darker, wine-like berry note beside it. The heart is jasmine in two forms, jasmine sambac and jasmine, which together give a rich, heady, almost creamy white-floral intensity. The base is dry and plain by design: oak brings a smooth, slightly smoky, cask-like woodiness, and woody notes carry it, giving the fruit and flowers a firm footing rather than any sweetness.
