Acqua Attiva by Collistar, composed by Alberto Morillas in 2009, is a fresh, green citrus for men with a floral twist. People describe it as floral and citrusy in equal measure, and about half also find it spicy, green, musky and fresh.
Grapefruit and bergamot open it, bright and bitter, with eucalyptus adding a cool, camphorous, almost medicinal freshness and cardamom a dry, aromatic spice. The floral side is freesia and lemon blossom, the freesia peppery and dewy, the lemon blossom honeyed and citrusy, which keeps the scent fresh rather than romantic. The base is vetiver, smoky and grassy, oakmoss, dry and slightly inky, and musk, clean and soft, so it ends green and clean rather than warm.
It reads as a sporty, uplifting scent for warm weather and daytime, suited to someone who likes citrus and eucalyptus and wants a fragrance that smells of a cold shower on a hot morning.
