Cuir Elite

Cuir Elite is a spiced floral leather, released in 2019 by Christian Provenzano Parfums and composed by Christian Provenzano himself. Spicy and floral impressions are shared by everyone who describes it; about two thirds call it amber-like, and a minority notice woody, musky or leather sides.

Cardamom, coriander and saffron set a warm, slightly dry spice tone at the start, with davana adding a fruity, almost boozy sweetness that cognac and plum deepen. Rose, iris and violet form the floral heart, the iris giving a cool, powdery softness against the richer rose. Leather and amber take over in the base, supported by cedar and the smoky, earthy quality of cypriol, while musk keeps the finish supple rather than harsh.

Cuir Elite is worn by anyone. Its spiced leather and amber warmth point towards autumn and winter and towards evening wear, and it suits someone who wants a dressed-up, slightly old-world scent for dinners and formal occasions.
