Alto Astral, released by Byredo in 2025 and composed by Jérôme Epinette, is equally woody and ambery, with gourmand, musky, fresh and floral sides in support.

The top notes are bright and airy: aldehydes give a sparkling, soapy and slightly fizzy cleanliness, and coconut water a light, watery and subtly sweet tropical note. In the heart, jasmine brings a warm floral softness, incense a light, dry smoke and musk a clean, skin-like warmth. The base is soft and glowing: Cashmeran gives a musky, slightly spicy woodiness, sandalwood a creamy depth and amber a golden warmth.

Wearers report long-lasting to moderate longevity, and most describe its sillage as moderate, with some finding it strong. It is voted mainly for summer and spring, and largely as a daytime scent. It is worn by anyone and suits the office, holidays and warm days, for people who like a clean, luminous skin scent with a touch of coconut and incense rather than something sweet or loud.
