Gladiator

Gladiator by Bujairami is a sweet, boozy, fruit-and-tobacco scent worn by anyone. Everyone describes it as gourmand and about half as woody; smaller groups notice spice, musk, a floral touch and amber.

Rum sets the mood, warm and slightly syrupy, and white peach and green apple sit on top of it, the peach ripe and juicy, the apple adding a crisp, tart snap. Saffron brings a dry, leathery spice that stops the fruit from becoming jammy. Tobacco is the key to its character: a dark, honeyed, faintly smoky note that pairs naturally with the rum. Jasmine lends a small floral lift in the middle, and the base is warm and creamy, with vanilla and tonka bean for sweetness, sandalwood for smoothness, patchouli and vetiver for an earthy, grounding depth, and musk and amber to hold it all together.
