Basile Flannel

Basile Flannel, from the Italian house Basile, is a masculine fragrance released in 2020. Spice and woods lead equally, with freshness about half as strong and lighter green, resinous and citrus touches.

Bergamot gives a bright, clean start, and black pepper and ginger a dry, sparkling, tingling spice. Marine notes add a cool, salty, breezy freshness. The base is warm and woody: cedar gives a dry, straight structure, guaiac wood a smoky resin, vetiver a grassy earthiness and oakmoss a damp green depth, while tonka bean adds a warm, sweet, gently resinous glow.
