The opening is fresh and leafy: bergamot, petitgrain and citrus leaves bring a bright, slightly bitter green citrus, and cascalone, a marine material, adds a cool, watery breeze. Clary sage is the star, an aromatic herb with a musky, tea-like quality. Geranium and Bourbon geranium give a rosy, slightly minty floral note. The base is smooth and woody: sandalwood and Australian sandalwood give a creamy warmth, dreamwood a soft, sandalwood-like glow, and ambroxan a mineral, slightly salty radiance.
