Ignite Oud

Despite the name, Ignite Oud reads to most people as a woody, green scent before anything else: everyone who describes it says woody, about two thirds add green, and a third pick out musky, floral, amber and leather facets. Ahmed Al Maghribi released it in 2024, and it is worn by anyone.

Cedar and sandalwood form the woody core, the first dry and pencil-sharp, the second smoother and creamier. Oakmoss and moss bring the green character, a damp, forest-floor earthiness that gives the scent its slightly old-fashioned, chypre-like backbone. Patchouli deepens that earthiness, leather adds a dark, slightly smoky toughness, and geranium contributes a rosy, minty lift that stops the composition from feeling too heavy. Musk and amber round everything off with warmth and a soft, skin-like finish.

The result is a serious, mossy-woody fragrance with a leathery edge, better suited to those who like dry, earthy scents than to anyone expecting sweetness.
