Colonia Club, from the Italian house Acqua di Parma, is a fragrance released in 2015 in which spicy, woody, aromatic and citrus sides lead equally, with strong green and floral sides behind.

Lemon and bergamot give a bright, classic cologne opening, sharpened by black pepper. Mint and shiso add a cool, green, slightly spicy herbal freshness, and galbanum a sharp green bitterness. The heart is aromatic and floral, with lavender clean and herbal, and neroli sunny and honeyed. The base is dry and clean, with vetiver giving a grassy, woody structure and ambergris a warm, salty, mineral glow.

Worn by anyone, it suits spring and summer, office days, smart daytime occasions and holidays. It should appeal to those who like refined, herbal-spicy colognes with a dry vetiver base, crisp, tailored and fresh, in the elegant Italian cologne tradition its name suggests.
