Flowerbomb Extreme from Viktor&Rolf, released in 2006 and composed by Olivier Polge, Domitille Michalon Bertier and Carlos Benaïm, is a deeper, more resinous version of the Flowerbomb idea. People describe it as floral above all, with sweet, green, woody, amber and citrus facets each noted by a third.

It opens with jasmine and bergamot, a floral start with a brief citrus lift. The heart is white flowers and osmanthus, creamy with a faint apricot tone, against palm leaf, which brings a green, slightly waxy freshness that is unusual in this style. The base is patchouli for earthy depth, benzoin and amber for a warm, resinous sweetness, and vanilla to round it off, so the drydown is richer and darker than the fresh opening suggests.

It is worn by anyone, and the weight of the base suggests a scent for someone who liked Flowerbomb but wanted more amber and less sugar.
