Eros Pour Femme, released by Versace in 2014 and composed by Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson, is a bright citrus floral. Flowers lead, with woody and citrus sides about equal behind them and musky, amber touches underneath.
The opening is Sicilian lemon and Calabrian bergamot with pomegranate, sparkling and a little tart. The heart is a white bouquet of jasmine and jasmine sambac with peony and lemon blossom, so it is heady but kept fresh by the citrus thread. The base is sandalwood and woody notes with ambroxan and musk, which give a warm, slightly salty, skin-like finish rather than sweetness.
Most wearers report moderate longevity and a moderate trail. It is voted for spring and summer and mainly for daytime. It suits someone who wants a clean, radiant floral with a Mediterranean citrus feel, a scent for warm days and the office rather than for heavy evenings.
