The opening mixes lemon, black pepper and thyme for a sharp, herbal spice, with leather and saffron adding a rugged, smoky warmth from the very start. In the heart, magnolia and iris bring a floral, slightly powdery layer, sweetened by honey. The base of labdanum, agarwood (oud), caramel and tobacco is rich, resinous and sweet, building into a dense, lingering trail.
This is a very powerful scent. Most wearers call its longevity eternal, and the sillage is strong or even enormous. It is voted for winter and autumn and mainly for the evening. Worn by anyone, it suits cold nights and formal occasions, for someone who loves complex, intense compositions; a single spray is often enough.
