It opens with orange, lavender and bourbon geranium, a combination that is fresh, herbal and slightly green, with geranium adding a rosy, minty lift. The heart turns warmer: Turkish rose provides the floral core, cinnamon gives it spice, frankincense a smoky, church-like resin, and patchouli an earthy depth. The base settles into sandalwood and amber, softened by vanilla, with leather and bay leaf adding a dry, slightly savoury edge.
Moonlight is worn by anyone. Community reports on longevity and projection are not available yet. The resinous, spiced character makes more sense in autumn and winter and after dark, and it suits someone who likes incense and rose but wants them framed by wood rather than sweetness.
