Imperial Crown is a peppery incense from the British house Thameen, released in 2018 and worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it spicy, two thirds add woody and resinous, and a third notice amber and leather.
Black pepper and pink pepper open it with a sharp, dry heat and a touch of rosy brightness. Elemi follows, bringing a lemony, slightly peppery resin that bridges the spice and the smoke. Frankincense is the centre, dry, cool and church-like, and guaiac wood deepens it with a warm, smoky, faintly sweet woodiness. Patchouli adds earthy depth, and leather closes the base with a dry, smoky, slightly animalic finish.
No community data on longevity or projection has been gathered yet. Pepper, incense and leather suggest autumn and winter, day or evening, and the scent is best suited to people who enjoy dry, smoky compositions without fruit, flowers or obvious sweetness.
