The name means in the heart of the desert, and the scent evokes hot sand and resin. Coriander opens it with a light, aromatic spice, and cumin a warm, slightly salty and skin-like note that adds an intimate, earthy warmth. The heart and base are dense and resinous: resins bring a warm, balsamic depth, ambergris a salty, skin-like glow, cedar a dry, sun-baked woodiness and patchouli an earthy darkness.
