Fleurs d'Oranger from Serge Lutens, released in 1995 and composed by Christopher Sheldrake, is a rich orange blossom. People describe it as floral above all, with spicy, woody, musky and citrus touches noted by a minority.

There is no formal pyramid. Orange blossom and neroli are the centre, honeyed and slightly green, backed by jasmine, Indian tuberose and white rose for a dense, creamy white-floral body, with hibiscus adding a softer petal note. A pinch of cumin gives a warm, skin-like spice that keeps it from being purely pretty, citruses add brightness, and musk and woody notes carry it to a soft finish.

About half of wearers report long-lasting performance, and about half find the sillage moderate while a third call it strong. It is voted for spring and summer and mostly for daytime. It is worn by anyone, and suits warm weather and someone who likes white flowers with a sensual edge.
