Georges et Moi, a 2015 release from the French brand Sabe Masson worn by anyone, is a green, leafy floral. Floral is how everyone describes it, about two-thirds add green and woody, and a third spicy or citrusy.
Bergamot and lemon leaf open it with a bright, slightly bitter citrus, and petitgrain, distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree, adds a green, woody freshness. Ginger gives a clean, warming spice. The heart is magnolia, rose and ylang-ylang: the magnolia creamy and lemony, the rose soft, the ylang-ylang warm and slightly banana-like, which together make the floral side rich without heaviness. Cedar and vetiver form a dry, rooty base that keeps the whole thing crisp.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported by wearers. Leafy citrus and magnolia suit spring and summer daytime, and the fragrance fits someone who likes flowers with the green stems still attached.
