Cinnamon opens it with a sweet, warming heat. Cognac follows, bringing a rich, slightly fruity, brandy-like warmth that gives the scent its character and keeps the sweetness from reading as pure confectionery. Praline sits at the centre, nutty and caramelised, and vanilla and tonka bean broaden it with creamy, hay-like sweetness. Oak and sandalwood make up the base, the oak dry and faintly smoky like a barrel, the sandalwood smooth and milky.
