Fan Your Flames from Nishane, released in 2016 and composed by Jorge Lee, is a boozy tobacco gourmand. People describe it as gourmand above all, with green, woody and aromatic facets each noted by about half.

It opens with rum and coconut, a warm, sweet, slightly tropical start, more cocktail than dessert. The heart is tobacco and tonka bean, so the sweetness turns dry and leafy with a soft, almondy warmth underneath. The base is oakmoss and Chinese cedar, which bring an earthy, slightly bitter greenness that stops it becoming cloying and gives the drydown a dry, woody backbone.

Most wearers report long-lasting performance and a fifth find it lasts all day, while about half call the sillage strong. It is voted for winter and autumn and strongly for night. It is worn by anyone, and suits cold evenings and someone who likes sweet tobacco with a green edge.
