The opening is warm: cinnamon brings a sweet, comforting spice and nutmeg a softer, nutty warmth. The heart is darker and drier, with black tea giving a smoky, slightly tannic note, myrrh a bittersweet, resinous depth and elemi a fresh, peppery, lemony resin. The base is rich and golden, with tobacco for a honeyed smokiness, honey for sweetness, vetiver for an earthy dryness and oud for a dark, woody heart.
