Marry Me is Lanvin's 2010 feminine, composed by Antoine Maisondieu, and it is a soft, pretty floral. Floral is how nearly everyone describes it; a minority add sweet, woody, musky, amber and citrus, which suggests a well-rounded but unmistakably flowery scent.

Freesia, peach and bitter orange open it, a light, fresh start in which the peach adds a gentle juiciness and the bitter orange keeps it from turning sugary. The heart is a classic trio of rose, magnolia and jasmine, feminine and clean, with magnolia giving a slightly lemony, creamy lift. The base of Virginia cedar, amber and musk is quiet, adding a dry woodiness and a soft warmth that keeps the flowers close to the skin.

Longevity is reported as moderate or long lasting in roughly equal shares, and the sillage is moderate for half of wearers and intimate for a third. Spring and summer take most of the votes and it is almost entirely worn by day, which makes it a gentle daytime scent for weddings, work and bright spring days.
