Premier Figuier, composed by Olivia Giacobetti for L'Artisan Parfumeur in 1994, is a fig scent worn by anyone, sweet and green at once. Sweetness is noticed by everyone, most wearers also find it green and woody, and a third describe it as citrusy.

Fig leaf opens it with a sappy, slightly bitter greenness, and asafoetida adds a strange, savoury, sulphurous edge that makes the leaf smell freshly torn. The heart is the fruit itself, ripe fig, softened by almond milk and creamy sandalwood, so it turns milky and gentle. The base keeps the sandalwood and adds coconut and dried fruits for a sweet, slightly chewy warmth, with lime for a last flicker of brightness.

Most people report moderate longevity, and a fifth find it weak; sillage sits between moderate and intimate. It is voted for summer and spring and mostly for daytime. It suits anyone who wants a natural, leafy fig for warm weather.
