The Orchid Man from Frapin, created by Jérôme Epinette in 2015, is a spicy, green, leathery floral. Spice, green, wood, flowers, leather and citrus are all described in equal measure.
It opens with black pepper for a dry, prickling spice and bergamot for a fresh citrus lift. The heart pairs jasmine, smooth and slightly animalic, with leather, which brings a smooth, smoky texture. The base is earthy and warm, with oakmoss giving a damp, mossy greenness, patchouli an earthy depth and amber a soft, resinous glow.
