Akuri from the French house Detaille, released in 2015 as a feminine fragrance, is a fresh, fruity floral with a musky base. Floral is the word everyone uses for it; a smaller group also find it musky, gourmand, woody or citrusy.

Bergamot gives the opening a clean, bright lift, and raspberry and litchi add a juicy, slightly sweet, slightly tart fruitiness. The heart is a soft, spring-like bouquet: lily of the valley and freesia for a dewy, clean freshness, peony and lilac for a light, slightly rosy sweetness, rose and jasmine for warmth, and ylang-ylang for a creamy, faintly heady note. Patchouli adds an earthy depth underneath, and white musk and musk give the base a clean, soft, skin-like finish that keeps the flowers close.

The light, fresh floral character suits spring and summer and daytime wear, and it should appeal to someone who likes fruity florals in a clean, airy form rather than a sweet or heavy one.
