It opens with clary sage, a herbal, slightly bitter green note with a faintly musky, tea-like side. The heart is ambergris, which brings a salty, warm, skin-like quality rather than the sweetness people often expect from amber. The base is sandalwood, creamy and smooth, giving the whole thing a soft woody floor.
