Euria, a 2021 release from the Spanish house Botanicae, is a sweet woody fragrance that everyone describes as both gourmand and woody, with about half adding spicy, floral or ambery. It is worn by anyone.

Cherry and caramel are the sweet pairing at its centre, the cherry slightly tart and almond-like, the caramel soft and burnt-sugar warm. Saffron adds a dry, leathery spice that keeps the sweetness in check. The woods are green and resinous rather than creamy: fir brings a cool, sappy forest note and cedar a dry, pencil-like cleanness. A touch of jasmine gives it a floral lift in the middle, and amber settles the base into a warm, slightly resinous finish.

No wearers have yet reported how long it lasts or how far it carries. The cherry, caramel and fir combination points squarely at autumn and winter and the evening, for someone who likes sweet scents with a forest edge.
