It opens exactly as the name promises, with cherry soaked in liquor, a boozy, dark-fruit sweetness. The heart adds strawberry and caramel for more candied sweetness and more cherry, with Turkish rose giving a slightly jammy floral tone that keeps the fruit from being one-dimensional. The base of vanilla and tonka bean is soft and creamy, while sandalwood and vetiver add a dry, slightly earthy woodiness underneath that stops it from collapsing into pure syrup.
