The opening is almond and orange blossom, nutty and marzipan-like against a clean, slightly honeyed white flower. The heart brings tobacco, which here is sweet and hay-like rather than smoky, together with rose oil for a rounded floral warmth. The base is tonka bean and Bourbon vanilla, sweet and faintly spicy, with amyris, a soft, balsamic wood, and amberwood giving it a dry, warm finish.
Wearers are evenly split between moderate and long lasting longevity, and sillage is moderate for most, strong for a quarter. Autumn and winter are the favoured seasons, and day and night are voted exactly equally, so it works across the whole day.
