The composition pairs oud with green, mossy notes. Black currant gives a tart, dark and slightly green fruitiness at the start, and French marigold and marigold a bitter, herbal and slightly fruity floral note. Fir brings a resinous, evergreen freshness. The base is deep and earthy: agarwood, or oud, adds a smoky, resinous woodiness, nagarmotha, also called cypriol, a smoky, earthy depth, leather a smooth warmth, and oakmoss and moss a damp, forest-floor greenness.
