Mandarin and orange open it with a juicy brightness, but sage and saffron are right behind them, adding a herbal, slightly leathery warmth. The heart is where the sweetness arrives: caramel and tonka bean give a thick, almost buttery sugariness, while marigold adds a slightly bitter, honeyed floral note. The base is dry woods, cedar and vetiver, over ambroxan, a smooth, mineral amber material that gives the drydown reach and persistence.
