Hunter Jungle Man by Armaf, released in 2023, is a spicy, woody masculine fragrance with a floral heart. Everyone who describes it says spicy; most add woody, more than half floral, and a minority aromatic, leathery or citrusy.
It is clearly staged. The opening mixes bergamot and green notes with lavender for herbal freshness, cardamom for cool spice and cumin for a warm, earthy, slightly sweaty edge. The heart is rose, jasmine and violet, a soft floral trio, heated by nutmeg, cinnamon and more cumin. The base is dark and dense: agarwood for resinous oud, cedar and sandalwood for dry and creamy wood, patchouli for earth, leather for smoke and amber for warmth.
