XJ 1861 Renaissance is a citrus from Xerjoff, released in 2011. Everyone describes it as citrus, two thirds also find it woody and floral, and a third notice green, musky and aromatic sides. It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone.

The opening is Amalfi lemon, tangerine and bergamot with petitgrain, a full, sunny citrus with a slightly bitter leafy edge. The heart is rose and lily of the valley with mint, so the flowers stay cool and clean. The base is musk, Virginia cedar, patchouli and amber, which give this citrus more staying power and warmth than most.

More than half of wearers report long lasting performance and most of the rest call it moderate; the trail is moderate for most. It is voted strongly for daytime and for summer and spring, which fits a polished, long-wearing citrus for warm weather.
