Sun Force is a spiced, resinous floral built around rose, frankincense and honey, released by the French house The Harmonist in 2020 and composed by Guillaume Flavigny. It is worn by anyone.
Pomelo opens it with a bright, slightly bitter citrus, joined by cardamom and saffron, which bring a warm, golden spice. The heart is Bulgarian rose and rose, full and slightly jammy, with honey adding a thick, sweet, faintly animalic richness. Frankincense gives a dry, resinous, church-like smoke that runs through the drydown, with benzoin adding a sweet balsam, sandalwood a creamy woodiness, musk a soft finish and amber a warm glow.
It suits autumn and winter and evening wear. Anyone who likes rose with incense, honey and spice should find it rewarding.
