Without a published pyramid, the notes still tell a coherent story. Black pepper and saffron set a dry, warm, slightly metallic spice from the start, and sage adds an aromatic, almost savoury herbal note. Turkish rose is the centre of the composition, deepened by carnation, which carries its own clove-like spiciness. Beneath that, leather and cypriol, also known as nagarmotha, bring a smoky, earthy, faintly oud-like darkness that keeps the rose from being pretty in the conventional sense.
Longevity and sillage have not been reported widely enough to summarise. The character suggests cooler months and evening wear, for someone who wants a rose with pepper and smoke rather than sweetness.
