6 Carnal Spirit from the French house Spiritum is, above all, a spicy fragrance, with strong woody and floral sides and a warm, edible sweetness underneath. It was released in 2022 and composed by Philippe Paparella-Paris.

The opening is a fan of peppers and spice: black, pink and Sichuan pepper with ginger and cinnamon give a tingling, warming start, freshened by pear and peach. Pine needles and clary sage add a resinous, herbal green note. The heart turns floral, with osmanthus bringing an apricot-like, leathery glow and violet a soft, powdery tone. The base settles into frankincense, whose dry, smoky incense gives the scent a meditative quality, over creamy sandalwood, cedar and vanilla.

Shared by design, it is worn by anyone. The combination of spice, incense and warmth reads as best suited to cooler months and evenings, and to someone who enjoys a scent with texture and presence.
