Pear and black currant open it with a juicy, slightly tart fruitiness, while currant leaf and bud add a sharp green snap. The heart is a bouquet of lily of the valley, jasmine and ylang-ylang: fresh and dewy at first, then creamier and more sensual. Orris root brings a soft, powdery, lipstick-like note. In the base, vanilla and balsamic notes give sweetness and depth, amber adds warmth, and patchouli and musk keep the drydown earthy and smooth.
The balance of fruit, flowers and vanilla makes it feel comforting and a touch romantic. It would sit well on dates, dinners and cooler days when a sweeter floral feels welcome.
