The opening pairs rose with black pepper, so the first impression is a dry, peppery rose rather than sugar. The heart brings magnolia, a creamy, lemony white flower, alongside cypriol, which adds a smoky, earthy wood that gives the composition its slightly dark edge. Vanilla arrives in the base, smooth and warm, but it is held in place by patchouli for earth and cedar for a clean, dry woodiness, which is why the scent does not come across as a dessert.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported by wearers. It leans towards autumn and winter and the evening, and suits someone who wants vanilla with structure and spice rather than pure sweetness.
