To Be Super (Pure) by Police, released in 2022, is a clean woody fragrance with green and citrus sides. Everyone who describes it says woody; about two thirds add green and citrusy, and a third floral.
The notes are given as a single list. Bergamot and mandarin open bright, and Bigarane, a bitter-orange material, sharpens the citrus with a green, slightly bitter edge. Black tea and tea bring a dry, leafy, faintly smoky calm to the middle, with davana adding a fruity, slightly boozy apricot note and osmanthus a soft, apricot-tinged floral. The base is driftwood and woody notes, dry, pale and mineral rather than warm or creamy.
It is worn by anyone. Community reports on longevity and sillage have not yet been gathered. The tea-and-driftwood character is light and transparent, suited to daytime, spring and summer, and to someone who wants a quiet, clean, modern wood rather than anything sweet or heavy.
