Vetiver Java is a citrus vetiver from Perris Monte Carlo, released in 2021 and composed by Gian Luca Perris. Everyone who describes it calls it citrus, two thirds add woody, and a third each notice musky, floral and amber sides. It is worn by anyone.

Calabrian bergamot and grapefruit open it with a bright, slightly bitter zest, and timur, a Nepalese pepper, adds a tingling, grapefruit-like spice that extends the freshness. Geranium gives the middle a rosy, minty green touch. Java vetiver oil is the heart of the base, earthy, smoky and a little rooty, with amber adding warmth and musk a soft, skin-like finish.

No community data on longevity or projection has been gathered yet. Citrus and vetiver together suit daytime wear in spring and summer, at work or outdoors, and the scent should please people who want a fresh fragrance that dries down dry and woody rather than sweet.
