The opening is aromatic and spiced: cardamom and nutmeg bring a warm, slightly sweet spice, while cypress and artemisia add a green, herbal and slightly bitter freshness. Saffron gives a leathery, honeyed note that leads into the heart, where Taif rose offers a velvety floral touch. Patchouli then takes centre stage, earthy, dark and dusty, supported by oud for a smoky depth, and cedar and vetiver for dry, rooty woods. Vanilla, tonka bean and amber soften the base into a warm, sweet glow.
Worn by anyone, it is rich and grounding, best suited to autumn and winter, evenings and quiet, contemplative days. Patchouli lovers who enjoy it with spice and oud should find it a satisfying choice.
