Ray-Flection by Masque Milano, composed by Alex Lee in 2020 and worn by anyone, is a sunny mimosa and mandarin scent. People describe it as floral and citrusy in equal measure, and about half also find it spicy, woody, musky and fresh.
Mandarin orange and yellow mandarin open it, juicy, sweet and bright, with aldehydes adding a sparkling, slightly soapy lift and cardamom a cool, aromatic spice. Mimosa and mimosa absolute form the heart: a soft, powdery, honeyed yellow floral with a faint green, almond-like edge, which is the scent's defining note. Violet leaf adds a green, slightly metallic freshness, and solar notes a warm, sun-on-skin glow. The base is beeswax for a honeyed, waxy warmth, cedar for a dry wood and musk for a soft, clean finish.
It reads as a daytime fragrance for spring and summer, radiant and gently sweet, suited to someone who likes mimosa and citrus and wants a scent that smells of warm light rather than fruit or sugar.
