Wind Wood, released by Mancera in 2014 and composed by Pierre Montale, is a woody fragrance with lighter spicy, green, floral, leathery and citrus touches. It is a bold, fresh-woody masculine scent.

It opens with mandarin orange, giving a bright, juicy citrus, green notes for a crisp freshness and pink pepper for a light, rosy spice. The heart combines patchouli, earthy and dark, with violet, soft and powdery. The base is long and woody: amber brings warmth, vetiver an earthy, grassy depth, leather a smooth, slightly smoky texture, cedar a dry woodiness, and white musk and oakmoss a clean, mossy finish.

Most wearers find it long lasting, and close to half describe a strong trail. It is voted for autumn and spring and mostly for daytime, so it suits work and smart daytime occasions in transitional weather, applied with restraint in close quarters.
