The notes are listed without stages. Pink pepper opens with a rosy, slightly sharp spice, and olive adds a green, savoury, faintly bitter note that is rare in perfumery. Ylang-ylang gives a creamy floral softness in the middle. The base is a dense stack of resins: frankincense smoky and lemony, labdanum warm and ambery, benzoin sweet and vanillic, styrax balsamic and slightly leathery. Oud adds dark wood, leather a supple smokiness, and vanilla a rounded sweetness.
