It opens with black currant and juniper berries, a tart, slightly resinous fruit start with a gin-like bite. The heart pairs galbanum with gardenia: galbanum brings a sharp, bitter green note like snapped stems, while gardenia adds a creamy white floral sweetness. The base is a single accord of amber, which gives a warm, resinous, faintly sweet glow for the fruit and flowers to rest on.
