Raw Human

Raw Human from Lattafa Perfumes, released in 2024, is a sweet amber scent worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand and amber, and about half add spicy, floral, resinous or leather, so expect a warm, fruity resin with a smoky, slightly animal edge.

The notes are given as one list. Apricot and plum provide the fruit, ripe and jammy rather than fresh, and pink pepper adds a light, rosy spice on top. Osmanthus, an apricot-scented flower with a faint suede-like quality, bridges fruit and leather in the heart. The base is built on frankincense, which brings a dry, lemony, church-like smoke, styrax for a sweet balsamic resin, and leather for a smooth, dark depth that keeps the fruit from becoming cloying.

Wear reports are still scarce. By its make-up it belongs to autumn and winter and to evenings, and it suits someone who likes fruity sweetness but wants incense and leather underneath it rather than vanilla.
