The opening is sharp and warm at once, with saffron giving a leathery, slightly metallic spice, pink pepper a bright tingle and grapefruit a brief bitter-fresh lift. The heart is the centre of gravity: cedar brings a dry, clean wood, tobacco a honeyed, hay-like richness and vanilla a soft sweetness that rounds the edges. The base is smoky and modern, as frankincense adds a resinous, church-like smoke, cashmeran a warm musky wood, patchouli an earthy depth and light amber a gentle glow.
