Raspberry gives the opening a tart, jammy sweetness, and saffron adds a dry, slightly medicinal spice beside it. The heart turns darker: oud brings a dense, resinous wood, leather a smooth, smoky depth, and guaiac wood a dry, tar-like warmth. Patchouli adds earthiness, and the base of benzoin, amber and vetiver gives a soft, balsamic sweetness over a dry finish.
